A big project and a big responsibility: this is a classic piece of antique furniture that needed significant restoration.

Here's the piece in its original state: veneer peeling away, drawers misaligned, sun damage, and missing inlays.

An example of having to splice-in new wood to fix significant damage - colour matching and blending comes later.

Here's the top mid-renovation with major damage fixed and veneer re-added; still a bit of work to do on the edges, but you can't see where we spliced-in new wood.

This shows work in progress with the surfaces re-polished and the drawers being re-fitted.

And here it is completed and ready to return to (a very happy) customer. And breathe.
